Tools of the Trade

But your services aren’t!
And as a QuintEssence breathwork facilitator you’ll be charging for your time, skill, expertise, and the supportive environment you provide.
To help you get started, here are some things you will need:

- To start with, you’ll need a comfortable gym mat. Clients will be lying on the ground for extended period of time and their comfort is your first priority: Balancefrom Gym Mat
- Some clients breathe better in a reclining position. To help, you’ll want a BackJack in your workspace. The backjack is different than other meditation chairs so please trust me when I tell you to start with this one. I made the mistake of purchasing a cooler looking one to start and I missed some essential features only the BackJack offers.
- The neck and head position of the client is of vital importance. This neck pillow is the perfect level of comfort and correct positioning required for successful breathing sessions.
- These sand bags are excellent to help breathers get into their belly. You can pick up sand cheaply at any local hardware shop and fill them up yourself.
- Speakers I use are the JBL Charge 5. I’m a sound snob and the reason I love these are not just for the sound quality, but because I can link up to 100 speakers together. That makes them great for groups. However, their battery life isn’t as good as I need them to be.
- My suggestion to start with is to go for the Anker option. Much cheaper, their sound quality is also exceptional and they allow for multiple pairings as well. For the first year, while you will only be working with individuals, this will more than meet your needs without breaking the bank.
