In Flocess
Nov 13, 2024With the advent of AI (who can write way better emails, in way less time, and without the inevitable typo), I’m still here.
Typing from my bed in a moment of quiet, when I really want to be taking a nap, and am this close to asking chatGPT to write this up for me… but I won’t.
Because I’m human.
And there’s something very special about that.
I used to wish I wasn’t. I wanted to get everything done, and have it all done so perfectly, you’d marvel that it wasn’t possible, but it was, because I did it and that was proof.
Proof of what? I’m not sure.
But with AI doing better work than I ever could, AI has given me the most amazing gift.
Permission to not have to anymore.
Permission to not be a robot.
Permission to be the flawsome, irreplaceable me who is always in flocess*.
Not that I needed permission, but I'm taking it anyway.
There’s something so rich about the human experience.
In years of private practice, I have always felt that I gained more from sessions than clients themselves.
I was and still am privilege to witness,
The gift of the individual journey we are each on,
The unique ways in which we see and process the world,
The tapestry of stories that make up our realities,
The core and fundamental beliefs we all hold,
The common principles of pain we all struggle with,
The beauty of being human is a wonder and a marvel. And it becomes ever the more so the longer I am in this work.
I’m no longer in private practice, even though I miss it very much.
I chose to stop working with individual clients, when it became apparent that I was never going to be able to adequately service the demand and get to the endless waiting list of people hoping to book sessions.
Which was when I knew it was time to build a team of facilitators who could bring more of this human and heart centered work into the world with me.
Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to attend some wonderful schools and programs,
And also the privilege of learning from some incredible teachers,
And they are not the same thing.
There’s something powerful about learning from a teacher you look up to, admire, and trust.
Something meaningful about receiving not just their teachings, but also learning to see through their eyes, experience the way in which they relate to the world.
Completing schooling programs tended to be about proving I had acquired a certain amount of information.
My mentors and teachers were more about individual guidance, human interaction, and personalized integration.
In an age of AI, information is suddenly cheap. Instantly available, we’re experts in any field with one Google search. In this age of information, it’s integration and individuation that is the commodity.
That’s why I teach the way I do.
My own teachers have taught me the value in investing deeply into each student so they can learn, grow, flourish, and do more for their own clients one day.
My upcoming Hypnotherapy Certification training is an intimate cohort designed to bring students to a place of integration and mastery in working with individual clients.
Given from a Torah oriented perspective, the training focuses deeply on hypnotic interventions, effective facilitation, advanced regression and spiritual exploration techniques.
It’s not a schooling program, it’s a cohort for the dedicated professional.
Ready for more than just another diploma on the wall?
Ready for a transformative ten-month immersion that will uplevel the way you experience life?
Applications are now open for interested students who have already taken Vessel*. Apply here.
Applicants to my programs are selected for who they are; for who they have the capacity to become; whom they will influence; and the profound impact they will one day make on our world.
It is my absolute joy to champion my cohorts from inception to graduation and beyond. I can't wait to see what this one brings.
Fally
* A mix between flow and process. It’s the perfect word for a recovering perfectionist and I discovered it by mistake when I was teaching a few years back and my words got mixed up on my tongue before tumbling out of my mouth and gracing the world with its appearance.
